Main Objective:
To take the lead in developing architectural drawings for interior fit-out projects and support the Project Architect in ensuring that all design documentation is aligned with the conceptual vision, firm standards (VA standards), timelines, and statutory requirements.

Core Competencies:
Proficiency in preparing statutory, tender, and GFC (Good for Construction) drawings
Familiarity with local building regulations and municipal approval processes
Strong understanding of interior design and architectural detailing
Capability to check and integrate consultant drawings into architectural deliverables
Technical accuracy and eye for design detail
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), Adobe Suite, and MS Office

Key Responsibilities:
1. Presentation & Design Support
Coordinate with graphics team to prepare client presentations as per firm standards
Collate necessary support information for design presentations
Develop schematic concepts under the direction of the Project Architect
2. Statutory Drawings
Prepare accurate statutory drawings/documents for local authority submissions
Ensure alignment with applicable codes and VA standards
3. Tender Documentation
Develop detailed tender drawings with comprehensive annotations and specifications
Incorporate feedback and design inputs during documentation
4. Construction Documentation
Deliver construction-level drawings that align with project timelines and VA standards
Maintain design integrity across all stages of documentation
5. Services Coordination
Review and integrate MEP/structural inputs into architectural drawings
Coordinate with consultants to align architectural and services drawings
Identify and escalate discrepancies proactively
6. Construction Administration
Respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) related to architectural/interior design
Participate in site visits to resolve design clarifications and support execution
Additional Responsibilities (Supportive Role):
Assist in preparing schematic and progressive design presentations
Capture client inputs and signoffs at key stages
Define material specifications for BOQs and tendering
Review shop drawings in line with design intent
Contribute to budgeting inputs and material evaluations
Support organizational improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
Professional registration or license (preferred)
Familiarity with interior fit-out industry best practices and detailing standards
Experience working in high-paced, design-led environments
